Dry day declared in Shillong

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara has declared dry day on August 15 on account of Independence Day, a press release stated on Monday.

All IMFL retail shops and all bonded warehouses under the district shall remain closed on the above mentioned date. Any violation of the order will be viewed seriously as per the Meghalaya Excise Rule.
