East Garo Hills DC Vibhor Aggarwal distributes emergency responder kit

WILLIAMNAGAR: East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Vibhor Aggarwal distributed the emergency responder kits to 100-trained Aapda Mitra volunteers from the district at Multi-Purpose Hall in the DC's office on Thursday. The scheme and project were sponsored by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), New Delhi. The Aapda Mitra volunteers are well-equipped with the knowledge of basic life support and the handling of emergency responder kits, and they are the first responders and well prepared to deal with any case of disaster emergency, stated a press release.
