East Jaintia Hills Police Arrested Three Nigerians From Ratacherra check post

SHILLONG: The East Jaintia Hills Police has arrested three more African nationals from the district. ccording to police on September 17, three Nigerian nationals, Danial Agbasi (24), Machewu (25) and Victor (20) were apprehended from a night super bus at Ratacherra check post. The trio has been handed over to Umkiang police outpost. An FIR has also been registered. With the latest arrest, the number of African nationals arrested for entering India through the East Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya has gone up to 17. They had entered the country illegally via Bangladesh.
