East Khasi Hills District Magistrate declares two new micro containment areas

Guwahati: East Khasi Hills District Magistrate War Nongbri on September 8 proclaimed two new micro containment zones after the detection of positive Coronavirus cases in the Laban and Madan Laban regions.

The areas announced as micro containment zones include the house of C Syiem, Clarin Cottage, Dunn Hill Road, Harisabha, Laban, and Flat of B. Deb in the building of A. M Rynjah, Madan Laban.

The order restrict unregulated exit and movement in the influenced zones from September 8 which require contact following, testing, and quarantine to be affected in the interest of the health of the public to prevent against any conceivable spread of COVID-19.

Also, the District Magistrate has lifted the containment orders from the Compound of Bipul Bhawan, Jail Road, Matri Nawas Building, Jail Road, Quarter No. A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and A9 of Municipal Quarters, Bishop Cotton Road, and from the building of Dr. Lumlang Jyrwa, Oxford Hill.
