Ex-service men Gautam Rai to assist in COVID-19 fight in Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Sixteen veterans of the Army led by Col Gautam Rai (retd), Director, Rajya Saink Board Meghalaya, volunteered to assist and help the State administration in the fight against COVID-19, on Monday.

The retired Army personnel are a very well trained and they will be deployed for security duties at various quarantine facilities being created in Shillong.

It is expected that another 20 more will join this initiative soon.
