I will definitely win: Jemino Mawthoh

SHILLONG: Jemino Mawthoh, MP candidate for the Lok Sabha election from Shillong Parliamentary seat and supported by the regional partners within the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA), has said that this election is different compared with the previous MP elections as this time all regional parties are united in support a single candidate from within the alliance.

“I feel very lucky to have the support of the different regional parties in the MDA government and this is a positive sign for the State. I’m sure that the candidate supported by various political parties in the Lok Sabha polls from Shillong win come out victorious,” Mawthoh told The Sentinel.

He said that his stand in this election in both Tura and Shillong constituencies is the same as with all the partners in the MDA which is ‘Stability and Unity’.

“If there is stability and unity in the government, all forms of developmental activities will be expedited and progress will take place at a rapid speed,” he said.
