Shillong: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong will be organizing its first-ever cultural fest – Nirvana, a three-day extravaganza between November 22 and 24.

Nirvana, a burst of cultural grandeur would see participation and performance from students across various institutes in the country. The three-day event offers a platform for the show of art in its many different forms ranging from music to dance, singing to fashion and drama. While, the first two days of the event would see cultural battles between participants across nine different events, on November 24, the final day of the event, the institute would host a ProShow at a humongous scale that would feature a night of performances from popular bands of Shillong.

Alongside Nirvana, the institute is also organizing its coveted annual management fest, Khlurthma between November 21 and 23 with participation from management students of major B-schools. Khlurthma literally means “War of Stars” in Khasi language and this event extends opportunity and exposure on different domains through deftly framed competitions by various clubs of the institute.
