Indo-Tibetan Border Police to Recruit 16 General Duty Medical Officers

ITANAGAR: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has invited application from eligible candidates to be employed as General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) in their 10 Battalions located across Arunachal Pradesh.

This contractual employment of 16 GDMOs at ITBP battalions at Lohitpur, Kimin, Pegong, Dirang, Aalo, Tezu, Yupia, Basar, Pkong and Bomdila will be for a period of 3 years only or till regular incumbent joins or if he/she reached 67 years of age. A consolidated remuneration of Rs 75,000 per month will be paid. Eligible candidates having requisite medical qualification included in the 1st or 2nd schedule of Part II of the 3rd schedule to the IMC Act, 1956 and having completed compulsory rotating internship may attend walk-in-interview on October 29 at 9 am at ITBP 33rd BN, Khelgoan, Guwahati, said a Press Information Bureau (PIB) release.
