Joint Action Committee of NEHU comprising of NEHUTA to stage stir

SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee of NEHU comprising of NEHUTA, NEHUNTSA and NEHUSU has decided to hold a demonstration demanding that the incumbent outgoing VC Prof. S.K. Srivastava's term be NOT extended beyond 23rd September, 2020, the last day of his term.

The demonstration will be a silent protest by stakeholders maintaining all Covid norms.

Accordingly number, social distance and other protocols shall be observed. It will be held on 8th September, 2020 at 12 pm in front of administrative block.
