Khasi Student Union (KSU) Condemns Agnes, Amita Incident

SHILLONG: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) central body president Lambokstarwell Marngar on Friday expressed that the Union cannot accept what had happened to Agnes Kharshiing and Amita Sangma.

Speaking to reporters, Marngar said, “This matter is currently being investigated and the investigating agency should find out the exact cause on what exactly happened which ultimately led to the incident.”

He also pointed out that as time moves forward the investigation tends to drag on with no conclusion however in this incident things should move forward and those involved should be punished as per the law.

“Such incidents should not be repeated again in the near future in our state,” he said.
