Khasi Students' Union demands action against assault on locals

SHILLONG: The Khasi Students' Union (KSU) has demanded the law enforcing agency to take action against the culprits involved in the assault of local boys at Golflink area.

"We urge them to take necessary action, failing which the members of the indigenous community will not be just mere spectators," KSU chief Lambokstarwell Marngar said.

He also questioned the delay in arresting the perpetrators involved in the assault.

The KSU has also warned the non-tribals asking them to stop provoking the union.
