Many areas in Meghalaya shut down after covid 19 detection

The deputy commissioner of East Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya has closed after Covid 19 detection

On 3rd September, Thursday a few areas in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills have been "contained" by the dristict administration after the detection of Covid 19 positive case.

East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has coordinated Sr. Director of Post Offices, Meghalaya, Postal Division, Shillong, Elite Drugs Distributor, RPG Complex, Keating Road, Quality Auto Agency, Keating Road, Unique, Near DCIC, Polo short round road, Lawmawli, Photo Studio, opposite UCO Bank, G. S. Road and R. K. Bros, Keating Road to momentarily stay shut down until further orders.

The order was given after the recognition of Covid-19 positive cases there which requires forceful contact tracing, isolate, testing and quarantine as well as containment in the interest of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.
