Meghalaya BSF HQ launches 'Jan Andolan' against COVID

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent call for a 'Jan Andolan' to fight COVID-19

SHILLONG: Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent call for a 'Jan Andolan' to fight COVID-19, the BSF has kickstarted this campaign all over Meghalaya by spreading awareness among the people to wear facemasks, wash hands frequently and also follow social distancing by maintaining 'Do gaz ki doori'. Personnel of various units deployed along the Indo-Bangladesh border under Meghalaya Frontier of BSF took the pledge to take proper collective dissemination of precautionary measures on all platforms throughout Meghalaya during this campaign.

DIG/PRO of BSF Meghalaya Frontier, UK Nayal said, "The BSF personnel are determined to defeat COVID-19 through collective determination and discipline." He also appealed to the people to follow the social distancing and other norms to fight the pandemic, stated a release.
