Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma interacts with Director General Assam Rifles

Shillong: Conrad Sangma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya interacted with Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan Sena Medal**, Director General Assam Rifles on 17 Dec 18 at Headquarters Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong. During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed numerous issues including civil- military liaison, certain initiatives for developmental activities in Meghalaya and role of Assam Rifles in further development of the region.

Hon’ble Chief Minister, Meghalaya praised the efforts of Assam Rifles in extending their support to state administration. Both dignitaries laid stress on regular interaction among Officers of the State Administration and Assam Rifles. Hon’ble Chief Minister was also gracious to have met ASSAM RIFLES soldiers hailing from Meghalaya and complimented them for their selfless service to the nation. A defense PR stated.
