Meghalaya CPI leader Ranjit Kar no more

GUWAHATI: Prominent Communist Party of India (CPI) leader, member of the Meghalaya State Council and Senior Advocate Ranjit Kar breathed his last late on Tuesday night at the Apollo Hospital here, stated a press release. On behalf of the CPI's Assam State Council, Asomi Gogoi, Jayanta Gogoi and Dipen Deka extended condolences at Kar's demise.

The deceased is survived by his wife and two children.
