The Council formally adopted key academic regulations, approved syllabi for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and ratified the Boards of Studies constituted across various disciplines. In total, syllabi were approved for 15 postgraduate and 21 undergraduate disciplines, covering a wide range of subjects including sciences, humanities, social sciences, commerce, and regional languages. The syllabi were prepared by the respective Boards of Studies, which met in June 2025. “These syllabi were developed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines, ensuring an outcome-based, multidisciplinary, and inclusive approach to education,” said the Registrar.

Marak also emphasized that the meeting marks a significant step in operationalizing the University’s academic structure, benefiting not only its internal departments but also colleges seeking affiliation. The Council approved essential regulations related to admissions, fee structures, service conditions, and affiliation norms, paving the way for the launch of CWSSU’s first academic session in 2025–26.
