Meghalaya logs 52 new covid cases

SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered 52 new COVID-19 cases, which further decreased the tally of active cases to 735, the health department said in a bulletin. Meanwhile, the state also records 76 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 81034. Two persons succumbed to the infection in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1441 so far.
