SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered 13 new COVID-19 cases with zero death.

Meanwhile, the state also records 4 new recovered cases in the last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reach 83272. The tally of active cases is 61 the health department said in a bulletin.

With the latest figures, East Khasi Hills has the highest number of active cases of 47, West Khasi Hills 0, East Garo Hills 0, West Garo Hills 6, Ri Bhoi 4, West Jaintia Hills 0, East Jaintia Hills 3 and South West Khasi Hills 0, North Garo Hills 1.

All 13 new COVID-19 cases have been detected in East Khasi Hills. The total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection stands at 1484 so far.
