Meghalaya registers 329 new COVID cases

SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered 329 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths - Eastern Khasi Hills (EKH) 1 and East West Khasi Hills 1. Meanwhile, the State also recorded 142 new recovered cases in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total recovered cases reached 83,997. The tally of active cases has increased to 1629, the health department said in a bulletin. The total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection stands at 1,494 so far.
