Guwahati: Meghalaya has registered 76 more cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, July 11, said the state's Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma. After the detection of these fresh cases, the number of active cases rose to 215 and the recovered cases in the state stood at 45.

Meanwhile, India's COVID-19 tally touched 8,20,916 with the biggest single-day increase of 27,114, the latest data from the Union Health Ministry shows. The country also witnessed 519 deaths during the period, taking the total number of death count to 22,123.
