TURA: In view of the prevailing situation concerning COVID-19 in the district, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh, has passed an order thereby allowing some of the State government departments to function with full strength. According to the order, the Deputy Commissioner's Amalgamated Establishment, Health and Family Welfare, Police, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Treasury Office, Information and Public Relations, Election, PWD, PHE and all the Essential Services departments will now function with 100 per cent strength. The Central government offices, banks, post offices and other departments are allowed to function with 50 per cent strength, the order said.
