Minor girl injured in landslide, Byrnihat

Shillong: A minor girl was injured in a landslide in Byrnihat, Ri-Bhoi district. The landslide occurred in the wee hours of Friday.

According to authorities, the 8 year old girl sustained cut injuries in her face as she was stuck in the landslide that occurred at 13th mile Byrnihat near Durga Temple.

The landslide occurred at around 12:20 am. After wound care and first aid done the child was shifted to Byrnihat PHC by 108 Byrnihat based Ambulance. In another incident, a 11 year old boy, Khrawbor Syiemlieh was hit by a bike from behind at around 10:32 pm on August 23 at Nongmynsong near BSF Gate. The boy complaint of pain in his right hip. After stabilization with wound care and first aid was done he was shifted to NEIGRIHMS by 108 Lammali Based Ambulance.
