MLA Sanbor Shullai provide financial assistance to vulnerable people

SHILLONG: The Monitoring-cum-Implementation Committee (MCIC) 19th South Shillong Constituency has informed that local BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) MLA Sanbor Shullai will provide financial benefit to the vulnerable people in the constituency who have been affected by the pandemic.

These include — taxi drivers, sumo auto, and tempo drivers, Teer counter employees, specially-abled persons, daily wage earners working in various shops, godown coolie, domestic workers, hawkers, street vendors, Asha and Aganwadi workers.

The employees of Shillong Cantonment and Shillong Municipal Area who are involved in dead body management are also eligible to apply for financial assistance. The eligible beneficiaries can contact the office of their respective Dorbar Shnong/ Headman. They can also contact the Chairman and Secretary of the Local COVID Committee Management Team (CCMT). The last date for registration will be June 19 (up to 6:00 pm).
