Must fight polls unitedly: East Shillong MLA Ampareen Lyngdoh

SHILLONG: Congress leader and East Shillong MLA Ampareen Lyngdoh said,''We face multiple challenges in the given political situation. Our party must unitedly face the 2023 elections as a united force.'' When asked, Lyngdoh said, ''If the position of Deputy Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader is created then I won't shy away from it. However, I'm fine with or without a post. I'm a worker and will always strive to serve my people and the State.

''We are now building a team at the helm of affairs in the PCC to achieve a better grassroot support. Our party has many faces and personalities who can contribute immensely towards the consolidated approach -- the need of the hour.''
