North Shillong MLA airlifted to CMC Vellore for specialized treatment

SHILLONG: North Shillong legislator Adelbert Nongrum has been airlifted to Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore for specialized medical care.

Sources confirmed that the MLA had been unwell for some time and was initially receiving treatment at Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital in Shillong.  However, reportedly, acting on the medical advice, Nongrum’s family arranged for his treatment in Vellore.

On Saturday, he was airlifted to CMC, Vellore, on an air ambulance from Umroi Airport. His current condition remains under observation, and further updates are awaited.
