One more tests positive in Tura; Meghalaya total active cases now 16

SHILLONG: One more person has tested positive for COVID-19 in Tura on Friday, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 16.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said that a returnee from Delhi, who had recently arrived was tested positive for COVID-19. In a tweet, he stated, "One more returnee who came from Delhi has tested positive for COVID19 in Tura".

It may be mentioned that two people were tested positive for the virus in the Ri-Bhoi district, earlier on Thursday.
