Shillong: In a chilling case that has gripped the nation, a local court in Shillong on Thursday remanded Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand Kurmi—three of the five prime accused in the sensational murder of Raja Raghuvanshi—to additional 14 days of judicial custody. Public Prosecutor T. Chandra informed that the court proceedings were conducted via video conferencing. The three men, along with Raja’s wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her alleged partner Raj Kushwaha, have been accused of orchestrating and executing the murder.
