Shella Village Dorbar Submits Letter for Execution of PMKKKY Scheme

SHILLONG: The Shella village dorbar submitted a letter to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson, District Mineral Foundation, East Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya, concerning the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) scheme. “Shella village is one of the directly affected area where mining related operations are located and as such is eligible for various developmental and welfare projects/programmes under the PMKKKY scheme as per the notification of the guidelines of PMKKKY, Ministry of Mines, New Delhi, Shastri Bhavan dated 16th September, 2015,” Roy Kupar Synrem secretary of Shella dorbar informed the DC in the letter.

He requested that the DMF, East Khasi Hills district, should be activated at the earliest and to start implementing PMKKKY scheme as per the rules and guidelines, for the welfare and interests of the people and the village a whole.
