Shillong Electric Crematorium staff felicitated by MLA Sanbor Shullai

 'COVID-19 NOVEL SERVICE AWARD-2021'

SHILLONG: The Monitoring-cum-Implementation Committee of 19th South Shillong Constituency in collaboration with the Greater Shillong Electric Crematorium and Jhalupara Village Council under the presidentship of MLA Sanbor Shullai felicitated the staff of Shillong Electric Crematorium with the 'COVID-19 NOVEL SERVICE AWARD 2021' at Shillong Electric Crematorium Hall Jhalupara here on Sunday.

Altogether seven staffers of the crematorium were felicitated.

Local MLA Shullai gave them certificates of recognition and gift hampers as well as financial assistance as a token of love, appreciation and respect for their service to the people at large during the fight against COVID-19 .

Among those present on the occasion were J. L. Das-president, Prakash Bhandari-Headman Jhalupara Village Council, J. Kharmawlong-Headman Nongsohphoh, Upper Mawprem, Bipen Pradhan Secretary of Shillong Cantonment Area Development Committee, A. Marwein- Secretary MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency, Dr M. M. Khan Ward Member Shillong Cantonment Board and members of various local NGOs of the area. The vote of thanks was given by J. Malakar General Secretary Shillong Electric Crematorium.
