Special Camps For Voters In Shillong

SHILLONG: The District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills, has said that special camps will be organized on March 8 and 9 in all polling stations for enrolment of left out eligible electors. As part of the campaign, booth level officers are directed to be present in their respective polling stations for distribution of forms and receiving claims and objections.

The copy of the final electoral rolls will be available in the polling station so that electors can check their names in the electoral rolls. The electoral rolls will also be read out publicly during the camp to facilitate illiterate voters.
