GUWAHATI: Continuing the legacy of excellence and commitment, Class XII students of Army Public School in Shillong performed brilliantly in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2019 conducted by CBSE, the result of which was declared on Thursday. Out of 171 students who appeared in the examination this year, 41 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate.
Deeshant Bhattacharjee topped the Science stream by scoring a remarkable aggregate of 97 per cent, Deepa Bairi secured second position by scoring 96.6 marks and Anindita Guha secured the third position with 95.4% marks in aggregate.
In Humanities, Akanksha Roy and Bahnishikha Biswas jointly topped by scoring an aggregate of 94.6% marks while Farhana Ahmed secured the second position by scoring an aggregate of 93.6% marks and Adriel Salnang K Marak secured the third position with 93.4% marks in aggregate.
In Commerce stream, Abhik Purkayastha and Aniket Chokhani jointly topped by scoring an impressive aggregate of 92.4% marks, Tarun Joshi secured second position by scoring 91.2% marks in aggregate and Raghav Chokhani secured the third position with 90.% marks in aggregate.
The SAMC (School Administration and Managing Committee), Principal, Vice-Principal and the staff of the school congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the board examination.
