United Progressive Front team meets Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma

Shillong: In spite of being part of the State delegation to New Delhi, the members of the United Progressive Front (UPF) formally met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma to stress on him about the importance to push hard on the Union Government to implement the Inner Line Permit in the State. Speaking to newsmen after the half-and-hour meeting with the Chief Minister, the Legislator’s, said, “Although we are part of the delegation as a constituent of the MDA government, we want to officially inform him about the firm stand of our party on the Ilp.”

The UPF delegation believes that the Chief Minister will work hard to convey the voices of the people of the State to the Home Minister.
