Veterinary Minister Sanbor Shullai inaugurated liquid nitrogen plant, bull farm

SHILLONG: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Minister, Sanbor Shullai on Tuesday inaugurated the Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Plant, newly-constructed Bull Farm, intra-district liquid nitrogen transport vehicles and Dispatch Unit Building under Rashtriya Gokul Mission, at Central Semen Bank, Intensive Cattle Development Project, Upper Shillong.

Addressing the gathering, Sanbor Shullai lauded the efforts put in by the department in developing various livestock projects which have been a blessing to the farmers of the State. He also laid emphasis on the steps taken by the department in combating African Swine Fever, which is a major concern for farmers.

On the occasion, the minister also launched the official website and logo of the AH & Veterinary Department. Shullai urged the officers at various levels to put up their work at the official website of the department, which he felt could be a great mechanism for better relations with the local farmers.
