West Garo Hills extends containment measures in the district till September 6

TURA: West Garo Hills Additional District Magistrate, CN Sangma, had passed an order on August 28, thereby enforcing the containment measures in the district from 5 am of August 30 till 5 am of September 6 with the same restricted and permitted activities as in the earlier order.

According to the order, the essential commodities shops in the district will now open from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm while the non-essential shops, vehicle repairing and services shops are allowed to open from Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, stated a press release.

The order also said that besides complete lockdown on Sunday with exception to religious places, the corona curfew in the district will continue to remain from 6 pm to 5 am.
