ADG Border Roads PKH Singh Calls On Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga

GUWAHATI: PKH Singh, Additional Director General of Border Roads (DGBR East), called on Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on Wednesday and discussed the issues being faced by Project Pushpak in processing land acquisition cases. Singh highlighted the pending land acquisition cases affecting the progress on ground and requested the Chief Minister to expedite the cases.

Earlier, Singh visited the ‘Area of Responsibility’ of Project Pushpak in Mizoram. The Addl DGBR interacted with officers and personnel of the project.

PKH Singh visited the road sector of 24 Border Roads Task Force (GREF) and reviewed the progress of ongoing works at TLLL Road, ZMS Road, LDP Road, KDA Road and ST Road. He took stock of the quality control measures being adopted and the site documents being maintained by ground executives.

During the visit, Singh also interacted with DIG, BSF, COs of Assam Rifles to assess the security issue of personnel deployed in the remote locations of Mizoram, stated a press release.
