Aizawl Battalion of 23 Assam Rifles recovered 39 kg ganja in Mizoram

AIZAWL: In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles recovered 39 kg ganja and one kenbo bike, in New Vaikhawtlang, Mizoram on Tuesday.

The operation was carried out by a joint team of Assam Rifles, VCP &YMA Secy of Vill New Vaikhatlang based on specific information, stated a release.

Approximate cost of the recovered Ganja is around Rs 15,60,000. Along with the contraband, a person was detained by the personnel.
