This operation follows another successful joint effort last month where the Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police intercepted a vehicle in the Serchhip district. Acting on intelligence inputs, a mobile vehicle checkpoint was established on November 29, leading to the recovery of six 12-bore single-barrel rifles and the apprehension of one individual.
