Assam Rifles conducted medical camp at Zochachhua village

MIZORAM: The Lunglei Battalion of Headquarters 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), organized a medical camp at Zochachhua village on Sunday. The aim of the medical camp was to provide free medical counselling and treatment to the local populace by a specially constituted medical team under Assistant Commandant Deepanshi Vijayvargiya, ARMO 3 Assam Rifles. The medical officer of the Assam Rifles carried out an assessment of 112 patients, including 48 males, 28 females, and 36 children. Medicines were also distributed. Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education, including precautions against common viral diseases like malaria, dengue, and other communicable diseases, was also imparted, stated a press release.
