Assam Rifles provides medical aid to Mizoram villagers

AIZAWL: Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) provided immediate medical assistance to a male named KC Zavai, 50 years, who had met with a lacerated wound on his right leg while working in a field at Khaikhy village on 24 September 2022.

The medical nursing assistant of the Lunglei Battalion present at Lungpuk camp provided immediate medical aid followed by stitches over the lacerated wound. The condition of the male is being monitored by a medical assistant at Lungpuk Camp. The locals expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the assistance provided by Assam Rifles, a press release said.
