Assam Rifles seized Heroin worth Rs 1.75 crore at Mizoram

MIZORAM: Assam Rifles recovered 28 soap cases (350 gm) of heroin No. 4 worth Rs. 1.75 crore in General Bawngkawn Brigade and apprehended one individual on Saturday. The operation was carried out by a combined team of Assam Rifles, Special Narcotics Police Station (Crime), and Central Young Mizo Association Aizawl based on specific information. The recovered consignment and apprehended individuals were handed over to the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime), Aizawl, on Saturday for further legal proceedings, stated a press release.
