Assam Rifles seized heroin worth Rs 19, 42,000 in General Area Bawngkawn

MIZORAM: Assam Rifles recovered three soap cases (38.840 gm) of heroin No. 4 worth Rs. 19,42,000 in General Area Bawngkawn and apprehended one individual on Wednesday. The operation was carried out by a combined team of Assam Rifles and the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime), Aizawl, based on specific information. The recovered consignment and apprehended individual were handed over to the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime), Aizawl, on Wednesday for further legal proceedings, stated a press release.
