Easter Sunday celebrated at Salem Veng Baptist Church in Lunglei

LUNGLEI: The Lunglei Battalion of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), celebrated Easter Sunday at Salem Veng Baptist Church in Lunglei.The occasion is celebrated as victory of Lord Jesus Christ over death.

A total of 148 locals and 42 Assam Rifles personnel attended the event. A cake-cutting ceremony was organized followed by refreshments, stated a release.
