Heroin Worth Rs. 75 Lakh Recovered in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Assam Rifles, along with the Police Department Dungtlang, recovered ten Hongs of Heroin No. 4 weighing 108 grams worth Rs. Seventy-Five Lakh Sixty Thousand and apprehended two individuals, identified as Laltlanhlua (34) of Zokhawthar and Hningsanghana (29) of Aizawl Electric Veng in Champhai district, Mizoram, on March 7, 2025. Police seized the vehicle, a Brezza Car (MZ-01AA-2943) at Zawlsei Y Junction, Khawbung, that was carrying the heroin. The entire consignment and both the individuals were taken into custody by the Police Department, Dungtlang, for further investigation and legal proceedings, stated a press release.
