Mizoram: 7 more Covid patients discharged, active cases at 123

With the discharge of 7 more Covid-19 positive patients, the number of active cases in Mizoram has now reduced to 123

With the discharge of 7 more Covid-19 positive patients on Tuesday, June 23, the number of active cases in Mizoram has now reduced to 123.

It is to be noted that the total number of cured patients stands at 19.

All the cured patients have been discharged from the Zoram Medical College (ZMC) in Aizawl-neighboring Falkawn where they were undergoing treatment.

In a press release, Mizoram Health Minister Dr. R Lalthangliana on Monday informed that early containment measures and good medical facilities were the main reason for averting community spread in the state.

It is to be mentioned that Mizoram was first among Indian states to begin screening at airports and is yet to ease restrictions completely.
