Mizoram CM Lalduhoma Rings in 2025 with New Year Celebration on First Day of Working

AIZAWL: Mizoram’s Chief Minister Lalduhoma celebrated the first working day of the new year with a special event at the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall, attended by his office staff.

During the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed deep appreciation for the staff’s dedication and contributions to the state’s progress in the past year. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence, enhancing service delivery, and committing to the state’s development in the year ahead.

The highlight of the event was the cutting of a New Year cake, symbolizing unity and togetherness, and shared among all attendees. This gesture reflected the collective spirit of the office as they embraced the new year with renewed optimism. The program concluded with staff feeling inspired and motivated, ready to tackle the challenges and opportunities of 2025.

Meanwhile, the birth of India's first "Gen Beta" baby took place in Mizoram's Aizawl on 1 January, 2025, marking a significant milestone for the nation. The boy, who was born at the Government Civil Hospital at 12:03 AM, marks the beginning of the new generation, known as "Gen Beta," which includes children born after 2025.

Another baby boy was born at 12:35 AM at the Presbyterian Synod Hospital, which is situated in the Durtlang neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, after the first birth of the year.
