Kamalanagar: Pu CS Thanga, General Secretary, MPCC (Incharge of CDCC), Dangu Nihar Kanti Chakma, MLA and Pu VF Lalzarliana, Secretary, MPCC visited Kamalanagar, on a two-day visit to Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC). The high-level delegation team from Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) arrived at Kamalanagar, the headquarters of CADC on 9 June 2022 and a reception cum welcome ceremony was organized at Congress Bhavan.

Dangu Ramani Chakma, President of Chakma District Congress Committee (CDCC) warmly welcomed chief guest Pu CS Thanga and the MPCC delegates and Dangubi Rajo Laxmi Chakma, President of Chakma District Mahila Congress felicitated them with flower garlands. Pu CS Thanga is in charge of the Chakma District Congress Committee and it is his maiden visit to Chakma Autonomous District Council.

All the party workers and supporters of the Congress party were energised by the visit of the young and dynamic leader. The Congress party in Chakma District Council is gaining enormous popularity among the educated Chakma tribal youths and more and more youths are joining the party.

A meeting of the office bearers of the Chakma District Congress Committee was organised at Congress Bhavan on the second day of the 2 days visit. Addressing the Congress party workers, Pu CS Thanga said, "Youths are the future of the society and we should give importance to the youths. The senior leaders should make some adjustments to the present changing times and new trends in politics. At the same time, the youths should also respect and learn from the experienced and senior leaders in the party", a press release said.
