Mizoram Hosts Indo-Bangla Border Conference

An important joint border conference was held between India and Bangladesh at Aizawl on Thursday. The conference witnessed the presence of delegates from both India and Bangladesh who expressed their deliberations on the border issues between the two countries.

The conference led to a vital discussion on the need for demarcation of the border between the two countries along Mizoram. Brigadier General Zakir Ahmed who is entitled as the Surveyor General of Bangladesh informed the media persons about the purpose of the discussion.

From the Indian counterpart, Survey of India Director Sanjay Kumar headed the Indian delegation.
