Guwahati: Mizoram State Transport Minister TJ Lalnuntluanga has announced that the state government would soon launch inter-state transport services to neighbouring states and Myanmar.

"New buses will be purchased and replace old ones to increase the transport services and to create new routes. Assistance would sought from the centre besides state resources to execute the project," Lalnuntluanga said.

He further reiterated that the state government is also taking massive efforts to establish inland transport system besides improving road transport so that people can commute through public transport without having much problems and will ease the communication.
