Gujarat man calls Naga lady 'woman from Thailand', molests her, gets booked
Ahmedabad: A brave Nagaland woman who works as a masseuse at a spa in Ahmedabad chased her molester after he allegedly sexually harassed her and called her a 'woman from Thailand'.
As the woman chased him and began to scream, nearby people rushed to nab him.
The accused was later caught by passers-by who thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
The masseuse hails from Kohima, stays with her fiancé in Ahmedabad's Satellite locality. She was walking back home from her workplace when the accused, identified as Vitthal Rathod sexually harassed her near Ramdev Nagar Crossroads.
The woman has alleged that Rathod groped her thighs, hurled lewd remarks at her and called her 'woman from Thailand' before running away thinking he would go scot-free.
A police team arrived at the spot to detain Rathod. An offence of molestation has been registered against him.
Police personnel are inspecting the area's CCTV footage for more evidence.
