Interaction session

KOHIMA: An interaction session was held with Nikhi Chandra, Consultant Regional Center for Urban and Environmental Studies, Ministry of Urban Developmental, on Wednesday. Chandra’s visit to Kiphire was to discuss proposals for the preparation of a detailed master plan for Kiphire. During the interaction session, departments highlighted their departmental activities including the Medical Department, where they stated that their mission is dealing with the rural people to promote health system in the district, stated a DIPR release.

I-D meeting

KOHIMA: Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Kevekha Kevin Zehol convened a meeting with heads of offices and administrative officers at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall to discuss matters regarding the preparation for the 73rd Independence Day celebration at the DDSC stadium. In the meeting, work distribution for the celebrations were discussed and the departments were assigned with respective works, stated a DIPR release.

Departmental meeting

KOHIMA: The monthly departmental coordination meeting of Bhandari sub-division was held at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari on Wednesday. Chairing the meet, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tiameren Chang welcomed two NCS probation officers and others officers recently posted to the sub-division. After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the ADC expressed gratitude to the officers of the sub-division for their concern and cooperation in gifting a traffic island to the denizens of the Bhandari town, stated a DIPR release.

Collection center

KOHIMA: A collection center building was inaugurated at Pangsha Old village under Noklak by C Phuniang, SDO Civil Noklak on Wednesday. The center was onstructed under NERLP for collection of horticulture and agricultural products of the area with the objective to provide a profitable market to farmers. Speaking at the programme, SDO civil encouraged the gathering to make the fullest use of the center for the right purpose and take the best care of the building, stated a DIPR release.

Free coaching class

KOHIMA: The district administration of Wokha in collaboration with Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) will be imparting free coaching for class X repeaters on the theme “Learn and Shine” under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Classes will start from first week of September, stated a DIPR release.
